Tidung Island

Tidung Island is a Administrative District of Thousand Islands, Jakarta, the island width is only 200 M and 5 km length, there is Tidung Besar and Tidung Kecil which is seperated island that connected by a bridge. Tidung Island also has a fairly complete facilities, such as, administrative offices, police stations, health centers, schools, docks, mosques and others.

Geographic location of the Tidung island is relatively close to the capital city of Jakarta. it only takes 2-3 hours drive from the port of Muara Angke or 1-2 hours from the port Rawasaban Tangerang, which make tourists doesn't waste much time and high costs to travel to the island Tidung.

Tidung Island can be a alternative maritime tourism in the Kepulauan Seribu, the wave of the beach is not so big because corals and coral reefs that surround able to withstand the waves, so it is safe for swimming.
